Red Ribbon Week

Keeping your kids drug free...it's not pestering, it's parenting
Know what your children are doing
Be involved
Set limits
Praise and reward them for good behavior
Ask questions
Ask who
Ask what
Ask where
Ask when
Keep lines of communication open
First, you listen
Then you talk
Take the time
They'll love you for it!

There is a limited supply of DeSales long sleeve navy blue polo shirts at the Flynn and O"Hara store in the Georgetown Mall.  Please call the storefirst before making the trip there.

Our revised uniform policy states that on Mass days students should be in regular uniform or gym uniform.  Sports sweatshirts, t-shirts and uniforms are not to be worn on Mass days.

Only blue, black and white headbands are permitted as part of the DeSales uniform.

Boys are to wear black or brown dress shoes. Casual sneaker like shoes are not permitted.

Congratulations to all of our boys Baseball Teams who have just about completed their seasons.
Good luck to both our Volleyball teams and the DeSales Swim Team who are still competing.

Meetings are being held and decisions are being made for the up coming Basketball season.  Information will be coming your way early next week, so be looking for it.

Fitness walk

Today we had one of the best Booster Club Fitness Walks ever. Thanks to Ann Beaulieu and her committee which includes Mary Miller, Debbie Ross, Ellen Roth, Beth Mullane and Mr. Rich, the event went on without a hitch. We also would like to thank Roberta Wojcinski,Tom Murphy, all of the teachers and the many parents and grandparents who joined in the walk today. Finally, for their donations, we would like to express our appreciation to Jody Chesko, from Niagara Produce, Dave D'Annabelle, from Dobbins Farms and Lenny Smith from Tops Market.
If they have not yet received their DeSales drawstring bag for a ten dollar or more donation, they will tomorrow.
McKayla Cole, a seventh grader was the Winner of the grand prize.
We raised 40% more than the last walk. Can't wait til the next one.
Well done DeSales Team!
