Spring Sports, etc.

Last day for Track registration is Friday March 30.

We need coaches for our 7th and 8th grade soccer team.  Without a coach there is no team.

Dress Down Thursday for the Meller Family.  Cole Meller is one of our 2nd graders whose family is in great need of our prayers.

Friday is READ A T-SHIRT DAY and last day of PARP month.  Students may dress down and wear theri favorite t-shirt with writing on it.

Hi,


Thanks. for all you do for our students and teachers.  With Spring around the corner, just a few reminders.

Please do not join in games with students.  It would not allow you to observe all students.
Remind students to enter the school building quietly.
Walk the students as a group from the playground and across the parking lot.
Do not allow students to sit or play near driveway wall.

Arrival Time

8:00 am is the earliest students are permitted to arrive at DeSales for school.  The only exceptions are for those registered with the YMCA Childcare Program, prearranged tutoring with a teacher and the DeSales Breakfast Program.  The Breakfast Program begins at 7:30 at a cost of $.85 per breakfast. 
Supervision of students by their teachers begins no earlier than 8am.

Parent Teacher Conferences

Parent Teacher Conferences are scheduled for November 18th 2011 from 12pm until 5pm.  Conferences for students in grades K-5 whould have already been scheduled with parents.  If not, please contact your child's teacher. 
Middle School And Specials teachers will be available in the gym from 12-5pm for anyone who wishes to meet with them. 

REMINDERS

Tuesday, November 15th is Picture Re-take day.  If you would like to have your child's picture retaken, please send in the unwanted pictures with them tomorrow.  If they were absent on picture day, they should have their's taken tommorow.  They may dress out of uniform for the pictures.  We will begin at 8:30 am in the school library.

CONGRATULATIONS

Congratulations to all of our DeSales Swim Team members!  I am very proud of all of you for the way that you represented all of us at the League Championships this past weekend as well as the entire 2011 season.  A special THANK YOU to all of the volunteer parents who spent countless hours making it all possible.
